Bench Program
A Lasting Tribute
The City of Covington Parks and Recreation welcomes your participation in our Commemorative Bench Program. This special initiative offers a unique and lasting way to celebrate a loved one, commemorate a special event, or honor a person or organization that has made a difference in our community. By dedicating a bench with a customized plaque, you create a beautiful place for reflection and remembrance while enhancing the beauty and enjoyment of our local parks.
How it Works
Our staff has determined appropriate locations for commemorative benches throughout Devou Park. Plaques will be ordered upon verification of payment and will be installed by city staff. Each bench will feature a memorial plaque, or two plaques if sharing with another dedicator, which will remain for 20 years with the option for renewal. We will work to provide options that best suit the request. Parks and Recreation will be responsible for the maintenance of the bench after installation.

Classic Memorial Bench- 6 ft $5,000
Shared Tribute Bench - 4ft $2,500
